In working with many of our clients, they are sometimes surprised to learn that there are benefits that help pay for in-home care. Even though a person may need nursing needs or skilled therapy, it does not mean that they have to go to a nursing home. Home and Community-Based Waivers are programs of in-home and community care, helping those who are eligible to remain at home instead of a hospital, a nursing home, or a facility for those with developmental disabilities.
Many times in talking to clients they are very worried about sending Mom, Dad, Husband, Wife or Child to a nursing facility.
